Principal's Message

Welcome to the school year!

It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself, Valerie Harris, as the Principal at Bilhartz Elementary School. I am humbled and most appreciative of the opportunity presented to me to be a member of this educational family. As the campus principal my goal is to ensure the success of each student and the school, by providing the best instructional and extracurricular opportunities as possible.

I am committed to ensuring that the needs and interests of students help shape instruction. Most importantly, an excellent education is not possible without the great collaboration of students, parents, and staff. As the instructional leader of our elementary school, I enthusiastically embrace the task of continuing to ensure that students are prepared with the necessary tools to be productive and responsible citizens as they write the next chapter of their educational lives.

İBienvenidos al año escolar!

Soy Valeria Harris. Estoy muy contenta y emocionada de presentarme ante ustedes como la directora de la Escuela Primaria Bilhartz. Con mucha humildad, valoro la oportunidad que se me ha presentado de ser un miembro de esta familia educacional. Como la directora de esta escuela mi meta es asegurarme del éxito de cada estudiante y de la escuela, proveyendo las mejores oportunidades extracurriculares posibles.

Es mi compromiso asegurarme que las necesidades e intereses de los estudiantes ayuden a guiar la enseñanza. Lo más importante, una educación excelente, no es possible sin la gran colaboración de estudiantes, padres y maestros (as). Como el líder instruccional de nuestra escuela primaria, con mucho entusiasmo acepto la tarea de continuar garantizando que nuestros estudiantes estén preparados con las herramientas necesarias para ser ciudadanos productivos y responsables mientras ellos escriben el siguiente capítulo de sus vidas educacionales.

Assistant Principal's Message

 

 

I am very elated to be serving as assistant principal at Bilhartz Elementary.  I earned my bachelors degree from the University of North Texas and my masters degree from Lamar University. This will be my eleventh year in education and my third year serving our students and families in Duncanville ISD. Previously I was a 4th grade teacher, 5th grade teacher, and instructional coach.  I look forward to another fantastic school year at Bilhartz Elementary! 

Estoy muy contenta de servir como subdirectora en Bilhartz Elementary. Obtuve mi licenciatura de la Universidad del Norte de Texas y mi maestría de la Universidad de Lamar. Este será mi undécimo año en educación y mi tercer año sirviendo a nuestros estudiantes y familias en Duncanville ISD. Anteriormente fui maestra de cuarto grado, maestra de quinto grado y entrenadora de instrucción. ¡Espero otro fantástico año escolar en la Primaria Bilhartz!
